Job Description
Working at our site in Portsmouth which has good transport links from around the city, you would be primarily running our production jobs – anything from running moulding machines to assembly work. With a variety of interesting jobs going through production, every day is a little bit different!
Responsibilities
- Carrying out set production tasks according to instructions given
- Confirmation of product quality according to quality sample provided
- Notification of quality concerns to Supervisor
- Packaging products in accordance with instructions
- Recording production data as required
- To work efficiently according to standard cycle times
- To log on and off of production jobs to enable the company to monitor mouldshop utilisation
- To ensure full handover to the next shift, especially relating to known issues and any deviations from the standards
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
- Work safely in accordance with health & safety rules
- Immediate notification to Supervisor of any actual or potential safety incident or concern
Hours
Rotating 05:45-14:00 & 13:45-22:00 or Nightshift 21:45-06:00
Annual Leave
33 days (25 days + bank holidays)
Wage/Salary
Dependant on experience

Skills Required
- Good written & spoken English
- Factory working experience preferred
- Good timekeeping
Qualifications Required
Experience of working in a similar role. Full training will be given to the right candidates.
