In June 2020, the ENL plant based in Slovakia underwent its IATF 16949 surveillance audit.
The gold standard in quality for the automotive world
Two years ago, our company successfully increased our quality standards by transferring from the old ISO TS 16949 to IATF 16949, which illustrates our commitment to continuous improvement. This is the gold standard of the automotive industry and demonstrates our excellent management system.
Audit passed with zero non-conformities
The audit in June was to see how we were maintaining these standards and we are pleased to report that we passed the audit with zero non-conformities. Changes in our management review process were scored positively and we are proud that it makes us even stronger and very focussed on always improving and enhancing our quality performance.
A small quote from the report says, “The increasing maturity of ENL’s QMS is apparent. Based on good customer satisfaction and achieved performance, it can be concluded that the QMS is delivering its intended outcomes.”
A happy team – and customers – at our Slovakia plant
Our General Manager for Slovakia, Boris Denko comments, “It’s very satisfying for the whole team at ENL SK, and a reward for all the hard work they have done throughout 2019 and 2020. It’s evidence that we are following the automotive standards to the highest level. We are proud that our system meets all automotive requirements, as this is very important for us and for our customers, it demonstrates ENL’s quality management system is working well and effectively”.
We’re always aiming higher
Next year our company will face the challenge to sustain our certification as our three-year audit cycle is over and the new certification audit will take place. Meanwhile, the team in Slovakia are busy continuing to improve and fine-tune their processes and practices at every touch point.
